Semester Health Protocols

Current Protocols

Live classes may convert to virtual should state and local health protocols require.

The health and safety of our students and teachers is at the forefront of our policy decisions. We are in regular contact with the Town of New Canaan and will follow their and the CDC’s guidelines as we look forward to a safe and healthy semester. Please let us know as we walk this next path if you have any concerns.  Our goal is to have a great experience!

For all Private lessons and Group classes:
Students are asked to wash hands prior to entering class. Hand sanitizer is available and all public areas will be sanitized between classes.

Group Classes:
Our musical theatre/acting classes will have up to 8 students and up to 10 students for the extended middle school production.  Our dance classes will have up to 8 students.

Inside:
Face coverings are required and students will be properly distanced in music theatre, acting and dance class.  There will be a final performance with family audience requiring masks.

If a student in the class becomes ill with corona virus, that student will need to quarantine from class.  We will make every effort to do virtual learning for that one student to keep them up with the class.
Parents should remain outside the Conservatory for drop off and pick up.

Private Students:
We will be using three large spaces at the Conservatory. All spaces will have plexiglass shields for teachers and students and a minimum of 12 feet from the teacher.

Parents: Should your child need to quarantine or tests positive for Covid-19 please notify the school immediately so we can address any additional health protocols that may be required.
