Artistic Tutor: Piano
Josh grew up down the road in Stamford, where he began studying piano at the age of five. After high school, Josh received a BM in Music Performance at Berklee College of Music, where he studied with world-renowned pianist JoAnne Brackeen. Shortly after graduating, Josh attended Western Connecticut State University and then the University of Bridgeport, where he received his Masters in Music Education. He's currently in his third year of teaching at Rogers International School in Stamford, where he teaches orchestra, band, and general music to k-8th grade. In addition to teaching private piano instruction, Josh is the woodwind instructor for the Stamford High School Black Nights Marching Band and instructs both the Stamford High School and Brien McMahon High School Jazz Bands. In his free time, Josh is a very active musician and can be seen playing with a wide variety of musicians on the New York scene and throughout the tri-state area.
