Musical Theatre Performance Camps

1-week sessions Monday – Friday beginning June 8 – July 27
Students rehearse and perform the selected musical show – learning songs, scenes and choreography. The camp show classes are grouped appropriately by age to help ensure active participation, confidence building and skill learning so that each child will have an enjoyable performance experience.
Invited friend and family performance on final day of class.

Camp Programs for Students in Middle School and High School
In collaboration with The Summer Theatre of New Canaan, CT’s premier professional summer theatre company
For Middle School Students:
Be an actor in The Summer Theatre of New Canaan’s Junior Company! The Conservatory and the Summer Theatre of New Canaan have created this musical performance summer program just for students entering grades 5-9. For three weeks in the afternoons Monday – Friday July 6-24. Junior Company cast will work with professional actors, director, choreographer and creative staff from the Summer Theatre. Show performance on Summer Theatre of New Canaan’s main stage July 24.

All students who wish to participate must first register online with the Summer Theatre of New Canaan. The program is limited to the first 28 students who register. All students who register will be accepted into the company and cast in the show. Auditions will also be held the first day of rehearsals for placement in the show. Contact us if financial aid is requested.
